Become a Vendor

Forest Grove & Cornelius Vendor applications are open!

Priority applications closed on April 1, 2024. Applications remain open throughout the season, but will only be reviewed on a rolling basis.

June 10, 2024: Forest Grove Farmers Market applicants will be put on a waitlist. Cornelius Farmers Market is still accepting vendors, especially looking for local farmers.

Vendor Application Information

  • Before applying to the Adelante Farmers Market, please read our Vendor Handbook. This document outlines our market rules and guidelines, from traffic directions to resources to support you as a vendor. It is mandatory to read the Vendor Handbook before applying and selling at our markets.

  • As of March 2024, we are especially looking for gluten-free goods, salsa or hot sauce, dairy, and fish vendors. We are NOT looking for sweets, candy, or prepared food.

Below are the factors we consider when reviewing applications:

    • We reserve the right to accept or refuse any business or products.

    • No vendor has exclusive rights to sell any one product.

    • The market looks for vendors with products that lend balance and diversity to existing mix.

    • All products must fall within product guidelines.

    • All vendors must comply with city, county, and state regulations that apply to their business.

    • All products are grown, produced, processed, handmade, and/or collected locally, on a small scale, and in Oregon or Washington. See product guidelines for a few product exceptions and additional information.

    • Returning vendors who are in good standing are considered first.

    • Vendors are encouraged to use environmentally friendly and sustainable methods in their production, agricultural practices, and/or packaging.

    • Prepared food vendors who source from local farms are given preference.

    • Artisan/craft vendors are permitted but will not make up a majority of the vendors. We are primarily an agricultural market and are working to promote access to local foods.

    • We partner with the City Club of Forest Grove to host the First Wednesdays Artisan Market alongside the Forest Grove Farmers Market. To be a vendor at the First Wednesday market, visit their website or send an email to artisansfg@gmail.com.

  • Each vendor must complete the following steps when applying to the market:

    • Create an account on Manage My Market.

    • Once you add your products and create a vendor profile, apply to the Forest Grove and/or Cornelius Farmers market by searching markets near you or clicking here.

    • Upload a copy of your general liability insurance policy at the $1,000,000 level, listing Forest Grove Farmers Market and/or Cornelius Farmers Market as an additional insured. If selling at both markets, you will need to add both markets to the policy.

    • Upload a copy of the necessary permits and/or licenses for your products on Manage My Market.

    • Farm vendors who are selling Secondary Farm Products must submit the Secondary Farm Product Form.

    • Complete the application fully and accurately, including dates you wish to participate in the market.

    • If approved, attend the Vendor Orientation on April 17, 2024.

The Farmers Market Team will review applications and products on a rolling basis. You will receive an automated email from Manage My Market if your application has been approved. We may reach out with additional questions before approval to get to know you and your business better.

    • There is a $15 one-time application fee for all approved vendors, which directly covers the management software fee.

    • There is a $50 refundable deposit for all approved vendors. This deposit is refunded at the end of the season unless you break market rules and/or do not complete the end of year vendor survey.

    • All vendors must have a 10x10 tent, tables, signage for your business and products, and 25lbs of tent weights for each leg.

    • There is a booth fee each week. The booth fee schedule can be found in the vendor handbook.

    • All vendors (approved & waitlisted) must attend the Vendor Orientation. This orientation is held in English and Spanish. If you are unable to attend live, you must watch the recording and answer a short quiz. If you have staff besides yourself who will be running your booth, please ensure that they have watched the video, have access to the vendor handbook, and understand the market rules.
