Payment & Process

Check payment is preferable, as credit card processing fees can take away a substantial portion of your sponsorship.

Please consider this as you plan your payment. We are able to receive sponsorship payments in several installments.

Confirm your sponsorship to ensure your business is listed on all printed materials.

  • Suelo, Semilla, Huerto, and Abundancia Sponsors, please email a file of your logo to Demarko@adelantemujeres.org (Logos with transparent backgrounds and/or .ai, .eps or .psd are required).

In 2005, Adelante Mujeres launched the Forest Grove Farmers Market, fostering cross-cultural exchange during this family-focused community event. Fifteen years later, in partnership with the City of Cornelius, Adelante Mujeres launched the Cornelius Farmers Market in the summer of 2020.

One of the most diverse events in the area, the outdoor Forest Grove and Cornelius Farmers Markets attract a weekly total average of more than 2,500 visitors of all ages and demographic groups to share good food and listen to local musicians.

The mission of the Adelante Farmers Market is to nurture community and celebrate culture by strengthening direct access to fresh, culturally relevant foods. We envision a vibrant community where all families are healthy and prosper.

We are seeking your help to strengthen various programs at our farmers market.

Food Access Program

We seek funding to expand our Food Access Programs, including WIC Matching, providing $5 Fresh Food Vouchers and FDNP Matching.

During the 2023 Farmers Market Season $139,573 was spent directly with vendors through our various Food Access Programs including SNAP/EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, Produce Match, Fresh Food Vouchers, Produce Prescription and WIC/Senior Farm Direct Nutrition Match.

Cultural Celebration & Placemaking

We are seeking funding to adequately pay musicians and performers who represent the culture of the people we serve, along with offsetting the costs of supplies. The Adelante Farmers Market is known for hosting culturally significant celebrations like Dia de Los Muertos, and we would love funding to adequately compensate the groups who participate in these cultural celebrations. In 2023, the Adelante Farmers Market hosted 8 special events at both markets combined. These events included the Salsa Festival along with our yearly end-of-season Dia de Los Muertos Celebration.

Kids Bilingual Nutrition Education

We are seeking funding to continue to operate POP Kids Club within our markets as well as food demonstrations and tasting to promote healthy eating habits to children. In 2023, we had 204 kids be a part of the Market Sprouts Program (now POP Kids Club). There was an average of 17 kids participating weekly along with a total of 31 Market Sprouts Days in the season. In 2023, we host 5 food demonstrations utilizing local produce provided by our farmers to demonstrate how to prepare unique produce.
